The Taliharja Vanakuri is a 101 km long winter endurance trek that takes participants on a long journey through sparsely populated wilderness. Participants must manage from start to finish under their own power, which means any external assistance on the course is prohibited. In addition to the main 101 km route, there is an option to participate in a shorter 55 km "Pehmo" route or extend the trek by 24 km with the "Sõgeda Sõõriga." The Taliharja Vanakuri takes place on January 26, and participants must be prepared to present mandatory equipment to the judge throughout the trek.
