The Muhu Run has been organized since 1987 and is one of the most anticipated sports events on Muhu Island, taking place on August 9, 2025. The run consists of three distances: the main race, a half marathon (21.1 km), a fun run (6.3 km), and children's races (2.0 km and 200 m). The start and finish area is at the Liiva Stadium near the Muhu Sports Hall, and the entire running course is secured by police, security services, and volunteers. Participants are provided with refreshments and a diverse cultural program, and everyone receives a medal and a diploma as a memento.
