Race description
Viljandi City Run is a traditional endurance race held annually on the second Sunday of October in Viljandi. The race course runs around Lake Viljandi and is one of the oldest sports competitions in Estonia, attracting top runners from across the country. In addition to the main race, several community sports events are organized, including children's races for different age groups. The Viljandi City Run course is 10.4 km long and offers a sporting and lively experience for both amateurs and professional athletes.

Additional information
Children's races for age groups 5 - 6, 7 - 8, 9 - 10, and 11 - 12 years old, free of charge and without timing. The community run 5 km starts at 11:00. Awards ceremony at 14:00. Registration and distribution of start materials at Freedom Square from 9:00 to 11:30. The race course closes at 14:30. The event day begins with registration at Freedom Square at 9:00, and competitions run until 14:30. Participants receive medals, and the event also includes children's activities and a fun run for amateurs.
